Americans across the country have regained faith in real estate according to a recent Gallup poll. As the real estate market recovers, a growing amount of Americans are pointing to real estate as the "best" long-term investment in comparison to gold, stocks and mutual funds, savings accounts/CDs, and bonds.
When considering the housing market's recent improvement and rising prices, it is not surprising that Americans have gained confidence in real estate as the best option for long-term investments. If broken down into income groups, it is found that upper-income Americans are more likely to pick real estate and stocks as the best investment, which is likely attributed to their own personal experience with these types of investments.
